Question by kyle: How can I help a friend get into the music industry?
I have a friend who is trying to get a job in the music industry and I want to help him get started. He can play electric guitar, bass guitar, piano, and he can sing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Get a qualification. Unless you have contacts it’s incredibly hard to get into so having a qualification will help. Grade 8 in any of those instruments qualifies you as a session musician and you can get a lot of work that way. Other than that he can always try volunteering at local studios etc.
