Hip Hop dances that have easy choreographed music videos?

Question by Armide: Hip Hop dances that have easy choreographed music videos?
Hi! I was contracted for a job teaching dance classes for an after school program. Unfortunately, the person (director’s assistant) who hired me and gave me the job details misunderstood the director, and so now I’m in a pickle.

I was first told that each week should have a different dance style to get the kids exposed to as many types of dance possible – sounds great!

Now, I’m told that the 5 week session is to start and end with Hip Hop, and add Jazz (so much for exposing today’s youth…)

I’m NOT a Hip Hop dancer, when I applied, the position was labelled as “Ballet Teacher.” For a school project, I created a lesson plan for teaching Soulja Boy’s “Crank Dat” and figured I could use that, but I don’t know any other dances like that, and I don’t listen to Hip Hop music either so I’m totally lost.

I told the assistant that I could do it this session, but hinted that since I’m not a Hip Hop dancer I can’t continously do it and that’s not what I was told I would be doing when I signed the contract.

I can’t afford Hip Hop classes and I have no time, in addition to teaching at a dance center on the weekends, I’m a part of a professional Flamenco company so evenings are off limits.

Can someone give me a list of Singers who have choreographed to their music videos like Soulja Boy?

Sorry I didn’t clarify, I’m teaching to First thru Fifth graders, so ages 7-10 or so.
