Question by Erin: For vista users only!! How is vista with downloading torrents or music/videos stuff n current media on my PC?
I only want answers from current vista users ok… No outside opinions, just current vista users’ first hand experiences.
So i’ve read up on so much s**t about the DRM in vista.
“DRM, short for “Digital Rights Management”, is anti-piracy technology. DRM is used by digital copyright owners to control who gets to access and copy their work. In particular, DRM gives programmers, musicians and movie artists some ability to remote control how people can install, listen to, view, and duplicate digital files.” (Paul Gil)
1. Is this going to effect the music and videos i already have on my pc after i get the vista upgrade?
2. Is it going to effect music, video or other downloads through stuff like limewire and torrent downloads?

Its a total NAZI. It is tougher on it. If you have the rights to it an in place instalation will not affect your files. I’ve heard its harder to rip DVDs but Cds are about the same. Shouldn’t affect bit torrents. there even supposidly a P2P somewhere in the OS
