We have a cleaning business, cleaning Banks. It’s really a great thing to get into
First you have to realize there are usually contracts signed between the 2 parties (1 year to start, with 30 day notice to dismiss)
The best thing to do is go to the establishment and simply give a business card or flyer’s. If the company has a day Maintenance, try to arrange you giving it directly to them.
You do whats called a bidding. It’s hard cu’z you don’t know what the current cleaning co. is charging. You have to be willing to under bid. Also, a lot depends on the equipment & cleaning supplies you have or willing to have. DO they want to supply a certain type cleaning chemical or you. So it does vary.
We offer a 2 night FREE cleaning using our supplies. Then IF they prefer our cleaning..(There is usually a gray area between day maintenance & night cleaners.Offer to go into and past that area as a team vs. a contractor.) Any way..Then We bid. IF we over but, but our cleaning is superior We get the job! That is also when you’ll get an ida of what the current co. is charging. If ya det a NO.. Ask can you make a bid again later down the road,
Be professional, don’t wear what you would to clean, and be ready for a lot of No Thank You’s. Try visiting New Business’ that doesn’t already have a company. They often take the first one to come along, and quite often it hasn’t isn’t even been a thought till you walk in the door.
Best of Luck to you!!
Hope I was a’lil helpful.
