I’m a singer-songwriter, and I write songs and have tons of them, But I dont know how, or where to start to get them out to actual recording artist!

Generally speaking you would want to partner with a publishing company as record labels don’t (usually) do publishing. Your best bet is to get great recordings of your songs, begin co-writing with other writers for the most exposure possible and submitting your demos to publishing companies – unless you become aware of a certain artist at a label or label executive seeking certain types of songs. Do be aware that most publishers want artists with money in the pipeline or songs that appear on other released records so I would strongly advise co-writing with everyone that you can.
