why is it always the artist that gets famous not the producer? who makes more money the music producer or the artist?

Yes, music producers become famous. Look at Timbaland. And I think that producers get tons of money the way artists do. It’s just that the artists are the ones that the record companies promote because it is their voice that gets put on the CD.
