Do actors’ paychecks over the cost of travel.etc?
Question by bubbles123: Do actors’ paychecks over the cost of travel.etc?
A-list actors often get fat paychecks and I’m wondering, aside from taxes and agent fees, what else do they need to pay for (work wise)? Are travel and accommodation covered under the contract and hence actors do not need to pay for the costs?
What about singers/pop starts/musicians? I read somewhere that most of their money comes from touring and merchandise sales. Do they need to hire studio time and equipment and producers or does that come with the record label signing?
Sorry for the random questions, and a whole heap of them at that. Not really sure if what I’m reading is right or true and I would just like to know more. Thanks in advance.

The movie studios and record companies cover expenses related to the actors’ and musicians’ work: travel and accommodation, studio time and equipment, producers, etc. It’s all part of the deal.
