HENCE, in consideration of the promises, and of the mutual undertakings herein contained, and for other good and valuable considerations, the above named and below signed Musician and the above named and below signed Employer agree as follows: 1. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the above named and below signed Employer hereby engages the above named and below signed Musician as an “Independent Musician” to perform the services set forth herein, and the Musician hereby accepts such engagement. 2. The Musician will perform at the Gigs on the dates and times listed in Appendix “A”. Rehearsals, if any, are as agreed. 3. As an individual Singer or Singing Group or a Band, (a.k.a. the Employer), you may/will be auditioning Independent Musicians for your concerts, Gigs or Recording Sessions.
The Independent Musicians joining you or your Band or Group are not employees, nor partners, nor agents of the Employer, nor of the Production Company nor any other company or person affiliated with the Employer in any manner whatsoever.
Signing this legal music contract the independent Musician is assigning any and all Rights to her/his/their performance over to the Employer.
This music contract Agreement between the independent Musician and the Employer is drafted in plain English that is easy to read and comprehend. The music contract Agreement may be filled in on your computer or printed out and filled in later.
This is an extensive legal music contract including but now limited to the following clauses: confidentiality, compensation, dismissal for drug/alcohol/illegal photographs/nuisance, engagement dates, assignment of rights and termination notice. Your Lawyer will draft any and all other clauses for your unique situations and circumstances.
