Can you get a virus on your xbox 360 by ripping a cd-rom with a virus on it to your hard drive?
Published February 15, 2011
Question by Darth Sithis50: Can you get a virus on your xbox 360 by ripping a cd-rom with a virus on it to your hard drive?
I like to play music while I play and with these stupid apple/microsoft agreement I can not play a lot of my music because it was purchased so I usually rip it on a cd to my xbox. Now my pc has viruses somehow and I don’t want my xbox to receive one.
I own a microsoft computer but I buy my music off of Itunes.

Viruses made for a completely different platform don’t effect another one. (Hence Mac computers being “virus free,” as nobody makes Mac viruses because nobody has Macs.)
