Can a music company take me to court or sue me for this?
Question by hi: Can a music company take me to court or sue me for this?
One day a music company contacted me from YouTube offering me 50 dollar for featuring their music on one of my video. All i had to do was audioswap their music for my music. This video was a game guide. They also made me sign a contract from here: tinyurl.com/trackone-audioswap-agreement.
My question is if I was to remove this video featuring their music will I get into trouble with them and they sue me or take me to court and have to pay them back? Or even if I was to be hacked or YouTube deleted that video? Or any future videos?
The contract doesnt say that i cant remove the video or delete it. Or if my account was ban or supsended will that take any effect? It just saids as long as my video is on Youtube i must use their music. Or what if lets say my music was still on youtube and i decided to change to a different company will i get in trouble?
I am just wondering because they paid me and what if that was to happen. Although it is not much for a one time payment for life time pernament.
Do you think this was a good or bad idea to sign the contract with them? What is the percentage of this happening for this company to sue me and all that stuff?
“I take responsiblity for conforming my account to the youtube terms of service *
I Agree
I Do Not Agree”
also what does conforming means?

Well for only $ 50 no one is likely to take you to court to get their money back. Did you violate any copyrights in the music you uploaded? That might be something to worry about.
