Break down of music artists finances?
Published January 13, 2011
Question by dbelimov: Break down of music artists finances?
Can anybody post a link to an article, as up to date as possible, that details the finances of a typical record contract and the revenues for the artist?
There’s a good one here: http://www.negativland.com/albini.html
but it’s from the 90’s. I’m looking for more up to date information.

A friend of mine posted this link on facebook recently:
http://www.informationisbeautiful.net/2010/how-much-do-music-artists-earn-online/
It mainly focuses on online sales though.
