The Horse Pine Stewardship Contract is an ongoing project that will eventually commercially thin 2,334 acres and, using the value of the timber removed, treat at least 1,400 acres non-commercially in order to enhance wildlife habitat.

(AP:WASHINGTON) Boeing Co. has received a $ 1.53 billion contract to build P-8A Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft for the U.S. Navy and provide related logistics, trainers and other support, the Defense Department said Friday.
