Anthem – The Epic Mix

I composed Anthem — The Epic Mix for the EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 Video Game (XBOX360/PS3). This version is just a tad different than the one in game as production had requested that I change the intro from the SNES sounding throwback to a piano. I liked the old school intro better so here is my chance to share. This is the second complete version of Anthem that I did. The original version started as a thirty second stadium clip in the Madden football game in 2009 and a longer remix was made about 3 months after (never released). When I started working on the Tiger Woods soundtrack I decided to make a more chilled out version of Anthem and it became the track you hear now. The sample sets came from IK Multimedia and Kontakt 2 and I used EZ drummer for most of the drums along with custom loops I had built up. Anthem for me is a fun little odyssey across many different musical styles and instruments and I feel this version was the one I hoped for in the beginning. As with all my other EA music here it’s part of my professional portfolio and due to my contract not available for sale or download from me directly.
