***Request from a listener ***All copyrights reserved to original/rightful singer/songwriter/artist/music production companies. No copyright infringement intended*** “Romeo. Romeo. Wherefore art thou Romeo. Deny thy Father and refuse thy name. Or if thou will not, be but sworn my love. And I’ll…no longer be a Capulet.—– …That which we call a rose by any other name, would smell as sweet”. -Juliet to Romeo… Balcony Scene Act 2, scene 2 ~William Shakespeare In our modern-day world… In our so-deserving title as “Mr”. or “Mrs” So-and-So. Or President. Or Captain. Or King. Or Queen. Doctor. Lawyer. Cowboy. Indian Chief…. Whichever name or appellation we have been crowned with… Whichever position we have achieved… Perhaps this is A TIME FOR US…to be reminded that indeed…a name is but a name. A TIME FOR US… to perhaps be reminded that… there is, really, no such segregation of hierachy and supremacy A title Rank Position… Status quo… Is but just that… A…Name… Hence… When disrobed of our title Undressed of our classifications… When taken all away… Is then left… The person… Not defined by his title Not distinguished by his designation But what is left… When taken all away… Is STILL… the very… SAME… Person… Of whom…deserves all… the very… SAME… honor So ’tis not thy name that wills thy reverence But in thy personhood which so esteems respect… ~heartBtrue
