So what kind of jobs can I get with a music degree?

Question by Alli B: So what kind of jobs can I get with a music degree?
I’m a junior in high school and kind of confused about what to do after I graduate. I’m really into music, but people tell me there are no jobs in that kind of major. My big dream is to move to Germany and maybe play music over there… But if that doesn’t work out I need a backup. Any help?

Maybe you can take a minor in music and major in business or another interest you have. That way, you still have a music degree, but if you need to get a job you have your other degree.
There aren’t many jobs in music. My friend is a drivers ed teacher and she has a music degree. She has a home studio, but doesn’t make very much money.
