FINANCIAL BACKING ! THE SECOND MOST IMPORTANT POINT IS LOCATION , LOCATION , LOCATION ! BEING IN AN ARTS DISTRICT IS GREAT IF PPOSSIBLE . IF AN ARTIST ISN’T INVOLVED WITH THEIR EXHIBIT , MOVE THEM ON DOWN THE ROAD ! A MIXED MEDIA EXHIBIT , PARTICULARLY AROUND HOLIDAYS IS GOOD FOR THE SHARED EXPOSURE & SALES . IF YOU HAVE A COOL GALLERY THE ARTISTS WILL COME OUT OF THE WOODWORK OR YOU CAN PUT OUT A CALL TO ARTISTS .DON’T WORRY ABOUT COMPETITION FOCUS ON A PARTICULAR ART STYLE , CONTEMPORARY/POP , WATERCOLOR , ETC. .
