How is The Tate Music Group getting away with charging artists $2,000.00 to be signed to their record company?

Question by President: How is The Tate Music Group getting away with charging artists ,000.00 to be signed to their record company?
First, I am not going to fault any artist for trying and that believes in themselves…

But why would you pay The Tate Music Group $ 2,000 dollars to sign a contract with them.

The Tate Music Group only signs artists that pay The Tate Music Group 2,000 dollars. Are there any real record companies that will only sign an artist as long as they pay 2,000 dollars?

Is The Tate Music Group taking advantage of artists just to profit off of them?

Why do you have to go to their state to file a lawsuit against them if they defraud you? This is right in their contract? How do they get away with that?
