Q&A: Intellecutal property rights and the music vs free downloading industry(s).?

Question by xvireroca: Intellecutal property rights and the music vs free downloading industry(s).?
Should downloading the ever popular MP3 for free be against the law, or are you a part of the “I can share my music if you can share yours” craze…..Comments, concerns, complaints, please do not be general, please focus on what you would present in an argument to someone like top recording artist and producer Justin Timberlake or the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (home of the grammy awards NARAS). (This is being taken for a school survey and term paper, thank you for your help.)

Well I think it’s wrong to download music for free. However, I don’t think that it’s all that bad when the artist has been out for 20+ years because they have already made their money. However, the new artists have not and they will not if people download their music for free.
