Remembering Jonathan Brandis

This is a retrospective of JB’s career, minus several MB’s of credits, so: Thanks Brian McArthur for many of the clips, and everyone at jonathanbrandis.org – (no this is NOT a commercial, and it looks like the site may be gone now in any case.) I was forced to ‘audio-swap’ the soundtrack, which took weeks to synch, but, since SONY got huffy about the SAME track on another video, I’ll be happy that the piece (which is beautiful, Mahler’s 5th Symphony, Adagio), can be used here and fits – more or less, (about eight seconds too long), though it’s a sight more somber than the music originally featured. (Thanks WMG – holder of one of the copyrights, clearly cited in the original message here.) Okay, so the episode of “Full House” is mislabeled as “Who’s The Boss”. Same year, about a month apart. So a FEW things are missing, (mostly earlier work) but that was the nature of the game in 2005 when I actually MADE this tribute. Someone told me that my software program couldn’t handle more than eight clips. SOMEONE wanted this to be done, then, because there are something like 39 of them here. Five years later and a hundred thousand views, the message is still there, kid. You mattered. You STILL matter. We remember. Rest in peace, now and always. Be aware that WMG (and YouTube) completely removed the original soundtrack, though JB worked for them (and he made them a tidy profit.) Yet another example of corporate greed destroying creativity. Next someone will walk through graveyards

A remix version of the Black& Gold I did. Go Steelers! This is my answer to Wiz Khalifa Black and Yellow. I’m just old school… I think it should be Black and Gold. His jam rocks….don’t get me wrong…. I’m just giving props to the Steelers. I did this for fun and the love of my home team…Da Steelers.
