Archos, Zune, Creative or Cowon?

Question by FILA: Archos, Zune, Creative or Cowon?
Alright, usually I’m the one who’s answering questions to you guys but I need help. I have a Creative Zen v Plus 2gig right now and I want to upgrade to more space, a good screen and all that good stuff. My decision was almost made up to get the Archos 5 250GB till I read a little deeper. Now I hear the audio quality (AQ) on the new gens are a step better then previous models. Audio Quality is big for me but space is to. Then I thought do I really want to carry all my tunes with me, some 7000 of them, I don’t know, I did at once and still up in the air. Im gonna list what I like about each players but I need you to help me

Archos:
screen, space, wifi, dvr dock, all the features
Creative:
been a long time Creative fan but lately haven’t, yea it has a SD slot but it doesn’t add to the internal memory
Zune 120:
Good amount of space, tv out without dock, smaller size, but you have to use there music management to put music on your zune, right? How do you like the software and is there any 3rd party apps/
Cowon:
I hear the audio quality is unbeatable to any other player, but with no wifi on the O2 or S9 and limited space and the biggest drawback which keeps me away…no id3 support on the O2.

Whats your thoughts, i know that’s alot of info and alot of reading but im looking for some good answers, people that know, no little apple fan boys who’s gonna say apple this apple that, im anti Apple so what you say im not gonna take into note and i really don’t care about you.

since i have a creative how is the Archos AQ compared to the creative? how is it compared to the Zune. I know the Cowon cant touch it so that’s not even a question.

Does the zune sound good, i listen to alot of hip hop and R&B, i need bass, i have a good set of phones, but i listen most in the car, and since i see the zune has no EQ or bass that’s a drawback.

I cant believe were almost 11 years into the mp3 market and companies isn’t maxing out on the potential of these players, seems like the players in the mid 2000’s were better. but i don’t know what do you guys think?

I have the Zune. In my opinion the software is easy to use and better than Itunes. There’s not that much to learning how to use it. You can browse by artist, genre, album, song and playlists. It monitors folder efficiently so all of your music will show up and be up to date. In order to use the software you just have to make sure you have the latest Windows Update and .Net Framework. Which are free to download.

Here’s a screenshot if you want one:

As far as the EQ goes it doesn’t bother me that much. The bass and sound are still good. It would still be nice to have one though.
