State ends contract with Boys and Girls Home
The North Platte Telegraph Nebraska’s attempt to privatize services for foster care hit a major snag with Thursday’s announcement that the state’s department of Health and Human Services was ending their contract with Boys and Girls Home. Now, care of more than 6,350 children is back in the hands of the state.
