Question by Tjsyj Ysrjry: Once you sign a contract with a major label are you automatically well-known and on your way to fame?
My band formed in January of 2010. We have already written 8 songs, 4 of which are on demo tape. We have only played live twice, once at a wedding and once at a private party, but Elektra records wants to sign a 2-CD contract. Is this a good thing? Are we gonna be a famous band now

No you need to tour GET KNOWN.
Maybe make a music video.Maybe get a good song for the soundtrack of a movie.
