Shortly after starting this course I was joined by a local up-and-comer Niki Andre, who shared with me her story about the difficulties of being new and independent in the music business. I do wish her all the luck.

The only thing that is certain about the state’s curriculum reform is that high school will be very different by the time this year’s fifth-graders get there.
