I have promoted a couple of very talented singers on youtube, most of them are my friends hoping to get a break from the recording industry. However , through posting videos of singers on youtube , we have realized that there is a sense of deception on this site. For example, 1000 people ( close friends, family, school, church e.t.c.) watched the videos of these talented performers. However , on youtube, the numbers of views shown are only 345! How is this possible? If this is the case , then the singers who have been discovered through youtube ( Marie Digby e.t.c ) did not get as much views as youtube claims!

Doesn`t it strike you as strange when the amazingly talented performers are shown to have got only a couple of hundred views while the satisfactory singers achieve huge amounts of success due to the allegedly high number of viewers?

Have you ever thought how this is possible? Do you think that the owners of youtube have some kind of contract of agreement with these singers where they frequently post videos of themselves in return of making it look as if high numbers of people have watched/commented on these videos?

If this is the case , then I think that the video sharing website is corrupt and not fair. I have tried hard to promote good talent which went to waste , but when i listen to singers of satisfactory singing ability, they are shown to have high views and comments such as: “omg , you are so amazing , you could be the next Mariah Carey”!!
so how long is it supposed to take? some of these videos were over a year old! i had to delete them because of these poor views and low rating!
