what do i need to do to become a music producer/manager?

Question by bkgug: what do i need to do to become a music producer/manager?
i’m taking some college courses next year. i’m currently a junior in high school. i really want to either be a music producer or a manager but i have no idea what i should even start with. any ideas? and i know the music business is all about experience, so does anyone know how to get a head start and gain experience? i really don’t know what i should do, i’m overwhelmed with all this college crap, lol.
