Question by ThatKidKnows: Once a band leaves their record label, who owns the rights?
Say band “X” are with record label “Z”, and record label “Z” is being horrible, and ripping off band “X”, so band “X” leave record company “X” at the end of their recording contract.
Who Owns the Copyright (Legal Rights) to all the music produced during the record contract?
Band “X”
or
Record Company “Z”?
