Can you break into the music industry with a Media qualification?

I am hoping to get a job in something music-related eventually but the only courses available around me are Media First & National Diploma courses. Would a Media qualification be useful for getting into the music industry?

Internships, to get your foot in the door. What part of the music industry are you trying to break into? Whatever it is, interning is probably the best way, while you’re working there, NETWORK, and after 3 months ask for employment.
