What kind of jobs are there in the music industry that are related to public relations?
Question by Peaches: What kind of jobs are there in the music industry that are related to public relations?
I’m in the process of getting in a degree in Public Relations and I would love to work in the music industry like for a record label or a band or something. I was wondering about kinds of jobs that I should look into, and is it hard to get these jobs?

You should try to get an internship with a label, bust your butt so they hire you, then you will have a job in the industry. I will warn you- it is a cutthroat business and you have to have your wits about you at all times. You may also want to find someone already in the industry and shadow them or ask to be their assistant. Have fun!!!
