Before you spend a DIME, go online to the sites of good electronic music magazines, like Electronic Musician, Mix, and others like it. They have WONDERFUL help files that will give you great information about making the best of what you have. Sometimes replacing a cable with a different the (unbalanced to balanced, or better shielding) will give you an improvement. You can also download some great programs like Audacity for FREE that will help clean up things, to an extent. But the saying is – garbage in, garbage out – so start with the best sound you can.

Now – I just gave this same advice to someone else, so don’t get your undies twisted over it – EXPRESS yourself better in writing. If you expect people to take you seriously, present your self as such. No texting abbreviations, clear grammar, spelling and PUNCTUATION – do you realize you wrote one long screed that is not even a SENTENCE? You also will serve yourself best to get the MOST education you can – private lessons with a master teacher, much theory, arranging, electronic music (download Finale Notepad for free, and learn to write your compositions digitally). There are a lot of fine and well-trained musicians out there – why stay at the end of the line, when you can move up?

Best of luck!
