enV2 usb&music….i’m completely lost!?

Question by Lilo: enV2 usb&music….i’m completely lost!?
Hello everyone! 🙂
I just got my new enV2 today! and i am clueless…
I realized that I don’t have a USB cable or a memory card… and that I need to buy them online….But where?

and i also noticed that there is ‘Music Essential Kit’ and ‘music management software’. what are they?
Is it the only way I can get the USB CABLE? and is it any good? Can i get it cheap from Ebay or something?

and another question…Do you recommend me to buy both or just the USB(if that is possible)? Which size memory stick do you recommend?

sorry for 3000000 questions….
any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for your help!!

You can get the Music Essentials kit and it will have the software that makes it easier to transfer your songs, the usb cable, and stereo ear phones.

Personally, I tell people to buy the micro sd card and it comes with an adapter for the sd card. If your computer has an sd slot, you won’t need anything more. Otherwise, buy an sd reader because they are pretty cheap. You can download the music manager software right off the Verizon site.

I find it to be easier if I keep my songs in MP3 format and turn the bitrate all the way down. Make sure you put the memory card in the phone first to format it. It will make 4 folders so put your music in the folder marked MY MUSIC.

That should help get you started.
