I worked in a shop for 8yrs and am in the process of opening my own shop. I never had to sign a contract when i worked at the old shop but in these days and times i feel one is needed for my shop. would anyone happen to know where i can find a sample contract. 🙂
I need a contract that enables a tattoo artist to be an exclusive employee/contractor of the tattoo shop for a certain term. For example, nba players sign an exclusive contract to play for a certain team. They can only play for that certain team until the term ends. We already have the waivers, licensing, etc. I was just recommended to instill a contract for my artist. If possible, a sample would be sufficient enough!

What do you mean by a contract? Are you talking about a consent to tattoo/pierce form? If by contract you mean license, you have to be licensed before the state will consider allowing you to open a shop. Give more details and I’ll help if I can.
