I’m about to be managing/promoting a band, and I want to make a simple contract stating that I make 15% of what the band makes at venues that I book/promote, as well as cds and other merchandise I sell. I don’t want to mess anything up or have any weird loopholes, I just want a simple contract that insures that neither parties gets cheated. Do I need to go anywhere/do anything specific to make it official?

i dont think so when my buddie signed a contract all he had to do was sign as long as u have a genuine signature of the client it will hold up in a court of law and it would be good if u got audio of them agreeing to the contract
