I will let Freebird Records explain what they are about:

Hello and welcome to Freebird Records On-Line. We are based right in the heart of Dublin and as you browse the sections you will realise that this is the one stop shop for your music needs in the non "Tesco/Wow" world of music.

Lets get straight to the point you may find some of the items cheaper from U.S. sellers etc, due to the exchange rates, but we would like to bring to your attention that as we also shop online ourselves, your advantages with shopping with us is that we are far cheaper than most of the shipping and handling charges of most other sellers, you should think of this when shopping.

Postage within Europe is far quicker and in the worst case senario if you have to phone the shop the time difference is less of an issue.

We run a customer ordering service that we think is rather brilliant, thanks to finding an exporter who really is top of their game so any enquiries or problems please mail enquires@freebird.ie.

Remember you always look at the overall cost of shopping – we think you will find us as good as anyone out there!

And dont forget there is nothing quite like visiting a physical store as we have a cracking sound system and as we recieve stock on a daily basis some items sell straight out of the box. So if you live in Dublin or are visiting Dublin give yourself an hour of guilty pleasure.

A wee note just to say – half of the store is second hand vinyl/cds/dvds and old school cassettes but as the stock changes hourly it is impossible to sell online.
