How do you know when you can become a music producer?

I really don’t know the answer except when you love music deep within your heart. I’m a writer, please check out my site at http://www.rubysbooks.i8.com. I’m hoping that my new book will become a movie. I’ve included 3 poems in my book that I hope will become songs and I’ve included 4 poems on my website.
