Question by Telling It Like It Is: Why doesn’t Yahoo Q&A offer rewards for their points – like?
Why don’t the creators offer something we can actually DO with the points – like at 1500 points we get 15 % off at the Gap on line or something – and for every thousand or hundred points earned in week, we get a free download from some music site. It would be a great way to generate business for yahoo and retailers to contract and it would motivate people to give thought out best answers to build their points. What else should they offer for points?

This site is FREE!!!! Come on, the advertisers foot the bill so people lilke you can come here and amuse themselves.

If you don’t want to answer questions for people for free, then don’t. Go ahead and ask questions until you use up all your points then go create another account and ask more questions.

If you want to offer to pay for prizes, go ahead. They have a hard enough time getting advertisers to pay for this place as it is.
