I set up a company 5 years ago and asked artists to send demo’s ect. Most the wanna be artists didn’t have demo’s, the rest generally only had cover song demos. No one wanted to sign management contracts ect (6 month contact to help establish a record deal). Half the artists are delusional, they think they are going to be ripped off. If you have talent it is easy to get a record deal.

I am in agreement with you however…99 percent of the people wanting to get into the business don’t have talent, but they think they do…that is why the enigma of how to get into the business exists…
