Qualifications to become a music Producer?

I am interested in becoming a record producer, like David foster. I am looking at collage , but what degree or courses, ect. would I need and what are some of the best colleges for this? Also how would you go about getting a job as one once you have qualifications, ect?

please give any references to education and other qualifications needed and any other info. that would help

You’ll need to learn how to produce music. Oh and you have to provide the money to back up the production.
