Question by ewinfrey88: interest in becoming a recording engineer/music producer?
I’ve really been interested in becoming a recording engineer/music producer, but i really dont know where to start. Should i go to a recording school or get my start another way…..any suggestions???

if you have your own basic setup and a bit of background like engineering at gigs, or in a show then you have an easy route in to a college or uni.
though to be fair, although you can say you have a BTEC or DIPLOMA in the subject, it all comes down to the contacts you get, so learn hands on doing what you can and start of making the drinks at small studios until you work your way up the ladder.
