Legal committees fails to reach agreement

Two members of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal and Administration of Justice are alleging there are plans by the government to withdraw their personal security. The two claimed the move is intended to punish them for the positions they have taken during the committee deliberations on the legality of President Kibaki’s nominations of Chief Justice, Attorney General and Director of Public Prosecutions.
