I’m looking to go to college to study something related to music, and working for a record label would be perfect. What jobs are involved in record label companies? Whether it involves the technical or promotional stuff.

Interns,A and Rs.

You should be a intern coming out of college.B/c you lack experience alot of people willnot hire you.But if you become a intern,that means you work for free for a while,but you gain experience you can put on a resume.You gain contacts with artists,and musicians.you learn the names of the people in the music industry that you need to know when you go out looking for that job.

You bust your butt,you do all that is asked and more.you make yourself a valuable piece of the company.you come early and you leave late.

Try this for 1 year.

This way the company will either hire you or they will give you a great reccommendation

It is a struggle for that year….but the connects and contacts you will make will set you up for life.
