I am opening a home day care in Pacific Grove, CA. I will be attending the state orientation on Monday, Jan 10th. I want to provide care for infant thru elementary after school children, but mostly will have preschoolers. I am looking for a simple guide to running a day care and a start up business plan specifically for a home day care. Something specific to my state of CA would be great, but other States welcome. I am also looking for forms, contracts, food menus, just anything that will help me start my business. I have been an office manager for several years so the business aspect is no problem, I just really need info on the nuts and bolts of the actual day to day operations. Thanks to any who can help.
