Knowing music is a huge benefit if you want to produce. You need to know what roles each instrument plays, if somethings out of tune, if something is putting off nasty tones.

College will teach you a PIECE of what you know. You need to get hands on with a production company and just watch people that know what they’re doing.

Practice will make you good like with everything. You will never be your best at this – it can always get better!
